Success, I learned, isn't just about reaching a destination or an objective; it's about the journey. My first significant achievement was winning a regional debate competition about how the impact of tourism had in my city in school. The victory itself was sweet, but the real triumph was overcoming my fear of public speaking. This experience taught me an invaluable lesson: courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it (and it took me time to understand that). But life wasn’t all about victories. There were setbacks, like failing to secure a scholarship I wanted. However, these moments were crucial in shaping my resilience. I learned that failure isn't the opposite of success; it's part of success.
