MY LIFE'S JOURNEY STORY

  The early days: Seeds of resilience   My journey commenced in a small town in Salvador-Bahia (Brazil), filled with dreams yet constrained by limitations of opportunity and availability. As a young teenager full of things to learn, I found that resilience isn’t just enduring difficulties but growing through them. Each challenge, whether it was doing good in a difficult exam, overcoming the fear of public speaking or even learning at a young age how to develop my network was a stepping stone, building a foundation of strength and perseverance.

  Reflecting on past successes and challenges   Success, I learned, isn't just about reaching a destination or an objective; it's about the journey. My first significant achievement was winning a regional debate competition about how the impact of tourism had in my city in school. The victory itself was sweet, but the real triumph was overcoming my fear of public speaking. This experience taught me an invaluable lesson: courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it (and it took me time to understand that). But life wasn’t all about victories. There were setbacks, like failing to secure a scholarship I wanted. However, these moments were crucial in shaping my resilience. I learned that failure isn't the opposite of success; it's part of success.

  Embracing Values and Talents Today, I stand at a point in my life where I appreciate the importance of instrumental values like honesty, diligence, and empathy. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am today. These values have not just shaped my character but have also guided my interactions and decisions. Also the people I’ve met in between were vital for my constructive self. A significant aspect of my current journey is the discovery and nurturing of my talents. My ability to empathize helps me connect with others on a deeper level, making me a better friend, colleague, and leader. My analytical skills, enhanced through years of academic severity and professional challenges, have enabled me to approach problems with a unique perspective.   Goals and Aspirations Looking ahead, I see a future where my end values of personal fulfillment, societal contribution, and continuous learning shape my path. My goal is to establish a social enterprise together with the tourism industry

  A JOURNEY OF CONTINUOUS PROGRESS My life's journey is an ongoing expedition, not a destination. It’s about continuously evolving, learning, and contributing to the world we all live in. The road ahead is long and undoubtedly filled with challenges and setbacks, but it’s also ripe with opportunities for growth and fulfillment.  As I continue on this path, I invite you to reflect on your own journey.
